Reservation Chart - Chart Vacancy, PNR Status, Train Time

The Indian Railways train services portal provides information on reservation chart vacancy, PNR status, coach position, running status, and train schedule options. Through this portal, citizens can check reservation chart, PNR status, and coach position.

Reservation Chart Vacancy

The IRCTC online platform lets users check train seat reservations and available seats. It features two sections: a reservation chart and a vacancy chart showing how many seats are still open on the train.

The reservation chart includes details such as the passenger's name, ticket number, the number of seats left after the chart is finalized, and the assigned coach and seat numbers. To protect privacy and ensure safety, Indian Railways keeps passenger names hidden online, but the ticket examiner (TTE) can view them. The chart is prepared 8 hours before the train departs. For trains departing between 6 AM and 3 PM, it's completed by 10 PM the night before. In the final 15 minutes before departure, the chart may be rechecked to update the number of available seats.
